HISTORY
All Nations United Methodist Church is one of the thriving churches in the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. It was founded in 2002 by its head pastor, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Boakye-Yiadom in 2002. We have grown from an initial congregation of 7 members to over 600 currently.
MISSION
At All Nations UMC, our purpose is to be the “hands and feet of Jesus” in the community and around the world, particularly for people of Ghanaian decent. Our Mission is to:
1. Follow Christ,
2. Make disciples, and
3. Transform the world
We seek to be faithful to the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus to:
“…Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always to the close of age…” Matthew 28: 19
At All Nations UMC We:
1. Reach out to our own members in a deep and meaningful ways;
2. Reach out beyond our “church walls” and become a multicultural community based congregation;
3. Reach out and welcome people of all backgrounds and provide a church home for all people who do not belong to any church; and
4. Reach out to those in our city who are hurting although such people may never become members of our church.
We seek to develop a dynamic traditional /contemporary worship and discipleship in the community for the body of Christ.
VISION
Our vision is to become a multicultural church where people of all nations and national origin come together to worship the Lord, propagate the Word and Serve the world.
